Texture and Negative Aperture
This project particularly caused me to think more about the balance since I need to think if the negative space would look natural or out of place. I used watercolor for the entire painting and a little of mod-podge to make the stained glass have its physical texture both visually and physically.
My favorite part of the project was also the hardest part of painting the stained glass because it required a lot of concentration and mathematical calculations as well. However, it was still fun to do and the result was rewarding. My least favorite part was cutting out the negative space because it was a tedious job but with necessary concentration. |
