GESTURES DRAWING

Do you think you were able to represent motion strongly? What was the way you showed motion strongly?
Yes, I showed motion strongly by using curves and S-shapes for the basic build of the body and using hair or clothing lifting up to show that the character that I'm drawing is in motion. Also, I blended (the last picture) some lines so that it would look like the character made a quick movement.
What about this was hard or easy?
Hard: Trying to make the character look like it's in motion and drawing with right propotions at the same time. Sometimes, the curves of my character's body made me uncertain and had to start over again so that the body looked like it's in the right proportions.
Easy: Tracing over the lines with a dark pencil. I had to do is show where the dark lines were and what were the shadows and this process was easy because of the good quality of the pencil that made the motions look natural and clear at the same time.
What would you do different on your next assignment, or if you had to do this again?
I would try to take more pictures of me in different motions because I only had one picture of each person who I took the pictures with. Since I had a lack of resource, it was hard to find the right position for my characters.
