How did you make this piece?
I made this piece by a process of steps. First, I brainstormed my ideas and what I wanted as my focus/topic word. Second, I made a rough draft and sketched how I would like to arrange the words and the picture. Finally, I drew the outline lightly with a pencil, traced and filled it in with colored markers, and filled the blank space with a black Sharpie.
What about this was hard or easy?
Hard: It was hard trying to fill in the leftover space with black since I have to use both a thick Sharpie and a thin one in order to fill in every crack. It was also hard trying to fit all my words in silhouette of the fox and finding the right shape of each letter.
Easy: It easy to brainstorm and lay out the basic picture since I already had everything in mind. Also, it was easy filling the letters with colored markers since I don't need to care about much detail (the black can make the whole picture look neat and fin dthe shape of the letters).
What did you dislike or like about making this work?
Dislike: The whole process wasn't very interesting since it was mostly of repetitive work.
Like: I liked how we could use a variety of letters and colors.
