Cubism Sculpture
What did you make a sculpture of? Do you feel like your sculpture is easy to recognise from all sides?
I made a sculpture of a woman's high heel. To be more specific, "pumps" made of cardboard. feel like my sculpture is easy to recognise from all sides because when seen from back, front, left, and right, I'm able to see a general view of one high heel. What about this was the most hard or most easy part? The hardest part in making this project was measuring and plotting out my sculpture because at first, I really didn't know how to start since I'm making something in a 3D form and need precise measurements. I had to look at many photographs of real pumps in order to have the general outlines and sketches to even start my project. What was your favorite or least favorite part of this project? My most favorite part of this project was the cutting and arranging the cardboards -- executing the project in action. It was very interesting how I was able to build a 3D object starting from the very bottom since I never made a cardboard sculpture before and I had a lot of fun cutting, attaching, and reattaching different cardboard pieces together. |
